When a trainee disregards the signals of fatigue and continues to train, overtraining occurs. Numerous people believe that weakness or poor performance indicate the need for even more rigorous training, so they continue to push themselves. This deteriorates the body even further.
Overtraining or working out when you aren’t feeling well or when your body needs rest is a certain way to lose interest.
This is not the same as looking for excuses not to work out; rather, it indicates that you shouldn’t push yourself to the point where you risk injuring yourself.
Taking a break can make the difference between feeling refreshed and ready to continue your workout and straining a muscle and having to skip your workout altogether. If you are too sore to exercise but still want to move, hobbies such as walking and yoga are fantastic possibilities for you to consider.
